First pic is this TC 4HP based Shocker vs the 02 Shocker Sig.

Got the wood for 25$ a sheet at home depot. Had this router forever, finally broke down to buy the flush bit....helps a lot.

It's OK, but not a huge improvement over a single 15 and definitely not = a pair of 15's. Box is a little over 6 cube after displacement tuned to 46hz. Should theoretically tune down around 35 if I can effictively plug one port. I'll attempt this before I pull this out and try something new.

Haven't had a chance to meter yet, but I'm guessing 146ish. Will update if I keep this in long enough for more testing...really was just something to keep me busy while I recone all my 15's.

Wood was 25$ a sheet,. I had no intention of keeping this box for more than a few weeks....don't plan on keeping the sub for that matter. Really I don't see me wasting time making a "pretty" box any time soon. I'm more interested in building, testing and then building something else right now.

Come down to Cape Cod for the NESPL show this weekend. Home depot in Hyanis has a huge stack of it on sale....probably price good til the stack is gone. I have no idea about availability at other HD locations. I walked in planning to get something MUCH uglier for the money I intended to pay.

Dunno if it's birch but it has a very nice looking finish and I thought the overall quality was as good as the birch or oak ply I've got from them in the past.
