Wanted to glass the sub pods and also make them strong enough to hold the weight of the idmaxs. So I build some sandwitched baffles, glassed them and finished them the best I could in OEM flint mica paint, same color as my car. Turned out GREAT for a simple project.
Here is what they used to look like.... Was a rushed job so I was never happy with the side pods...
Bottom is 1/2 MDF and the two top layers are 3/4"
Used good old walmart fleece, whatever was on sale.
1 layer of glass, forgot to take a pic after the second layer...

More and more sanding
Finally paint!
Will get better pics of the pair when the back end is cleaned up....
