I have this little pioneer amp iv used for everything... its played full volume @ 2ohms bridged, when its not supost too... never been in protect... its nothing special, but is pretty nice for a $10 amp.

I opened it up to see whats inside, still nothing fancy.. but i looked at the ratings and it has no 2 ohm ratings, though iv been running both channels at 2 ohms forever... it also says at the top 12v.

What kind of power could i expect out of this little thing @ 2ohms and 15v?

Maybe around 2 x 120 rms?

40w x2 @ 4oms would probably no more than 60w x2 @ 2ohms on an amp made to sell at a low price point.

On amps made to sell at high prices that are rated @ 2ohms 80-100w would probably be the best a 40w amp could do.

The most expensive part of an amp is the power supply, so thats where they cut corners so they dont have to charge $300 for it.

Hmm I'll have to see what it can do. I'v ran it at mono at 2 ohms before off some older subs and it held up fine for over a week that i had it in lol... I was really hoping for 2 x 100 + at 2 ohms...
