I just picked up a Armageddon 12" DVC4 Z Series and I need ideas for a box for it. I'm looking for SQL and size is a BIG factor. I have a '95 Geo Metro and I need the back seat. Max dimensions are 28"W x 15"D x 13"H. Any and all help w/ be appreciated. holy crap, I thought the biggest sub you could fit in a metro was a 8". Will that sub run in a sealed box? if so that is going to be your best bet as far as size goes

Had it in a pre-fab box and it sounded like ***. Kove says 1 cu. ft. sealed or 2.75cu. ft. ported w/ a 5" x 13" port. I'm looking for something different. Should be pics up now. Ck. my gallery.

1 cu.ft seems small for a 12, not that there aren't subs that will do it but that is a small box, the f3 must be real high with that box, I would have guessed more in the 1.5 to 2 cu.ft. size. without checking the TS param. I can't tell exactly but 1.5 with 50% polyfil would give a much lower f3. although I don't know what the what the power handling would be, probably in the are of 75% of rms

You can net 2 cu.ft. you should be able to do a nice ported box tuned pretty low with that kind of space

Kove is no longer in business. From what I've heard US Amps has recently purchased them. Hard to even locate specs on this sub. Is the 2 cube without sub and port displacement??

I don't have a calculator in front of me but I think your gross is around 2.5 feet, so the sub and port won't take up .5 feet

multiply all the measurements and divide by 1728 that will give you the cu.ft.
