well. i just installed the 2 8's ported @ 36 hz in a downfired box. 2.2 cubes. have them running @ 16 ohms getting a little more than 350 watts for the pair. they are rated at 200 rms per sub, so it's plenty. they sound really good actually. getting some 8 inch tinsel slap though. lol. cheap subs. output is at least close to a 12. they actually hit pretty **** low. handled some 3 6 mafia well. played a bunch of pantera songs, and love the way they sound. sounded nice playing some stevie ray vaughn also. i can't put my finger on it, but they have a different kind of sound than the 12's i've had. probably need a subsonic filter for these.
