I'm looking to find the right enclosure for the MB Quart RWE-304. I'm finding different specs for it and mixed opinions on enclosures, some say it's fine in a small enclosure and others say it needs a big one to sound good. Anyone have actual experience with this sub in an enclosure?

The pdf on the official site lists specs as:

RE: 6.4

QMS: 6.13

QES: 0.542

QTS: 0.498

FS: 28

VAS 103.5

But RWE-304 - MB Quart 12" 1000 Watt Reference Series Subwoofer has different specs.

I had one in a 1cube box and it would bottom out. Smaller the box the better, they can take loads of power, the coils on these are meaty, between my buddie and I we have tried every size but the 8s. they sound great but again they do not like large boxes at all. 1.5 cubes on rated and I was still dropping bottom frequently with a 15

So, sealed and less than 1 cube? I plan on feeding it between 650-750 watts, you think .97 without the woofer would be ok or smaller that that?
