$900 a month for food? Holy crap. Do you weigh like 600 lbs or what? If not, you will soon. We'll see you posting a thread about putting a system in a dump truck cuz that's the only way you'll be able to get around.

No we spend about $150/wk at Whole Foods then typically have one dinner out a week. I don't know where you live but here a nice steak dinner runs about $75 bucks without tip. I suppose I could ask my wife if she would mind switching to the dollar menu somewhere but I don't think it will fly.. 1 meal out a week is nothing

Ok. I was thinking for one person. That makes 450 a month per person. That's a little closer.

Yea it still amazes me though that some people go out and feed like a family of five for $100/wk the only thing I can figure is a lot of shit like ramen noodles and spaghetti-o's is hitting the table at dinner time a lot of nights.

alllthough, I just suggest not having kids.. Problem solved....take em to nebraska and drop em off at the hospital = less food bills.

Really a hundred doesn't get you that far especially when you have to by other hosehold items: toilet paper, paper towels, soap ect.

Well, you can make soups and stews on the cheap. I ate for 3 days on this bean soup I made...and still have some left. Although eating the same meal for 3 days is FTL. I usually swap out another batch of something in between.

It can be done, even healthily, but the food kind of sucks and has to be repetitive.

You don't buy those things every week do you?

I guess because I live alone it's different. One roll of paper towels will last me a month.

Yeah that's what I do I will make some chili today and make enough for six servings. Probably eat it tonight and tomorrow and freeze the other four when I want.

I think my problem is the lack of shopping options, walmart is full ofy hickish redneck whitetrash, the local market is close but really expensive and I can go to Whole Foods and get my shit organic for the same price. I really don't care much about organic but if they are the same price I will take them and the store is nicer also.
