line driver suggestions

Im looking for a line driver that will at least boost the signal on the rcas to 12 volts. any suggestions? right now my head unit has 4 volt preouts.

thoes amps should work fine with a 4volt signal. why do you need it at 12?

2500 can only take 10v max

I say with the 4 volt your gonna be good.Not to many amps will take over 10v I believe.

now are you actually getting 4 volts at preamp with a clean signal? my hu says it has 4 volt preouts but im gettin 1 volt. if thats te case i would get one that puts me at 4-5 volts. but if your already at 4 volts then imho you wont need one.

can't get required RMS voltage before clipping. Can't even get RMS voltage with max gain.

Then you either don't have nearly a 2V signal or a good amp. I've yet to see an amp that can't make full power with 250mV. Looking at your sig neither of the amps that you have will actually do their rated power anyway so that would be the problem. Boosting the input signal isn't going ot help that.

The Lanzar has been benched at over rated power many times. Not worried about the Jensen, its a POS anyways.
