Line Driver Help...

So heres the deal I have the PG 6-channel line driver. I am able to turn the 4 channels on the line driver (connected to my coaxials) all the way up with no problems. But with the one channel that has the bass signal I turn it up half way and then all of a sudden it fades out and completely disappears another 1/8 of a turn or so up. I don't get it, I've tried it in other channel locations, and the amp isn't turning off or anything.
