lil wayne's new song lollipop--- opinions welcome

Hate to break it to you but EVERY rapper is in it for the money. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Hate to break it to you, but there's a difference between wanting to make money by doing what you do, and being like "Look, that guy's doing this to sell records...I'm going to do the same!" Originality is what it's about. Back in the day you'd be laughed at if you bit someone else's style/lyrics, but now it's encouraged.

Wow...just wow. It absolutely baffles me that people think this is good rap. Heavy bass does not equal good rap. Retard lyrics being drooled out by what sounds like a 7 year old competing in the special olympics...is not good rap.
The chorus is absolutely, mind-boggling stupid and annoying...I fail to see what anyone sees is ANY Wayne songs, especially this one.

I never really liked him, and i dont think i ever will. Same thing with the rest of mainstream, there's only a couple like Bun B, Chamillionaire, TI that ill actually listen to.

For the hell of it I just downloaded Nas's Hip Hop is Dead CD, and its one of my favorites. Probably one of the best lyricists I've ever heard.

all you need now adays is a good beat, and chorus. thats all that makes a song mainstream, and when its mainstream it makes money. money is what all rappers are about. they could careless if some people disliked the song, because the rest of the media likes it and thats is how they make money.

MONEY, MONEY, MONEY.
