I still am still to this day addicted to Do or Die's Picture this album. Po pimp is still a good song to this day.
I picked up Talib Kweli's latest one, and it's pretty good...not like back when it was Blackstar with Mos Def, but still better than anything I come across on the radio.
I'll keep on recycling my old-school cd's before I get caught with a lil wayne album(even though I had his first solo album when I was in 8th grade //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif).\
I'll grab this... only because there is probably nothing better out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
I blame them all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifDon't blame the rappers, blame the morons who enjoy music like this.
Opinions are like assholes everyone has one and they alllll STANKKKKKK //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifI love how worked up people get when they don't like other's tastes in music //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
But as far as Lil Wayne goes, this song has definitely dropped him down another notch in my book. Looks like another radio song thats appealing to little white girls I guess //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
His older stuff is always alright to listen to, it seems hard to find a song by him that has presentable lyrics throughout. Most of the albums I have of him have one, maybe two songs that I can stand to listen to on them. The Carter II is about the only thing I could care to listen to.
Too bad the media is all rappers care about, not producing good quality music and ryhmes.....
Lil Wayne has a TON of stuff out right now that does not get mainstream radio play.It is definitly fan driven! If no one liked it they wouldn't make the music.Unfortunatly its young teenagers spending there parents money that are fueling these "fruit snack-rap" songs for the radio. Its all about radio play now a days, thats all the record exec.'s want.If you can't do that you ain't got a label. There are some that do it for the people and stay underground and make non radio frendly songs.Too shot,UGK,Devin the Dude,Tela,Scarface they all make music for the streets not the radio.
It's even funnier when illiterate canucks think they know the industry inside and out. haha..it's funny how you guys who just barely listen to their music think they ****in kno the industry inside and out. haha..
I couldnt have said it better myself. People are mindless idiots. Dance monkeys, dance...Wow...just wow. It absolutely baffles me that people think this is good rap. Heavy bass does not equal good rap. Retard lyrics being drooled out by what sounds like a 7 year old competing in the special olympics...is not good rap.
The chorus is absolutely, mind-boggling stupid and annoying...I fail to see what anyone sees is ANY Wayne songs, especially this one.
