lil wayne's new song lollipop--- opinions welcome

huh, pretty catchy. nothing really out of the ordinary though. Wayne's just simply following the trends of every other hip-hop/rap artist
i guess thats true but if it is him just following a trend he pwnd who ever started it with this track...

i mean i downloaded the leak which was supposedly the original carter 3 that was supposed to come out in december and nothing on it was as HOT as this...

ehh old news, it came out 3 weeks ago... keep up with the times bro

lil wayne - a millie

just came out a few days ago its the second single

Wow...just wow. It absolutely baffles me that people think this is good rap. Heavy bass does not equal good rap. Retard lyrics being drooled out by what sounds like a 7 year old competing in the special olympics...is not good rap.

The chorus is absolutely, mind-boggling stupid and annoying...I fail to see what anyone sees is ANY Wayne songs, especially this one.

I agree...

I dont listen to rap for one reason only. No talent. VERY few rap artists out there have talent. The majority of them come up with their shit lyrics at the studio the day of and then lay this horrid mess down and have the producer throw a decent beat on top.

Hip hop like common and tribe called quest and public enemy is rap and will always be the heart of hip hop and rap...this shit out now and for the last few years is nothing but garbage.

Honestly the last rap album I enjoyed would be cronic 2001

I picked up Talib Kweli's latest one, and it's pretty good...not like back when it was Blackstar with Mos Def, but still better than anything I come across on the radio.

Silly basslines actually tend to turn me away from certain songs. The kind of stuff I listen to I actually turn my bass down so I can intently listen to what they're saying and how they say it...something that I think is more important than "it hits hard in my truck" IMO.
