Lil Wayne Diss (Thought i'd share)

might be funny with a better delivery. that dude cant breathe and rap. what does this psyber listen to that he wants to diss actual rappers? i think its hillarious when people try to pretend like the know celebs and all there beef. only good lil wayne diss is the B.G. triggerman diss. he at least admits that lil wanye is one hell of a rapper but he couldn't square up with and real gangsters or street folk. thats just my opinion though.

I like the Carter II and III because they are so much more creative than all the other lil wayne cd's. His songs actually have concepts and they aren't just him rapping over a beat. He actually put effort into making actual albums for the Carter II and III

That's your opinion, I'm not sure what type of music you listen to though.
Wayne fan, and sadly, after hearing the Carter III, I will not be buying it.

I was let down so severely, I can't even justify having it.

After hearing 1000 Degrees (I'm Me) and a couple other leaks, I was looking forward to the album.

A bunch of Robin Thicke-esque songs mixed in with A Milli and enough voice synthesizer to make a T Pain album? No thanks.

The Carter III isn't necessarily a bad cd, but, it's not a Lil Wayne cd. Not at all.

Yea he only used the Voice Synthesizer on two songs on the album so.......... And He only has two love songs so I don't get your Robin Thicke comparison. The one song he has with Robin Thicke is unlike most of Robin Thicke songs and is actually one of the best songs on the album. Have you even heard the actual album?

Yes, it is currently in my car.

My Robin Thicke-esque comment was a comment on the general dreary, slow mood of the album.

It's a Lil Wayne album. I did not hear the words "Cash Money". That is a first. Where the hell is YM? I don't hear Boo or Mac Maine or Curren$y. Where's Baby?

Where is everything that has made him Lil Wayne, that is Cash Money? It's not there. It's as if he's attempting to do some "grown up" thing, and it failed.

And what is up with the mumbling? His half-slurring drawl is getting old.

He wanted to make an album that expressed himself (which is what music is supposed to be btw). If you know about Lil Wayne now he has changed very much from when he first came out. You can tell that Rock has influenced his life very much recently and it shows through his music. I like his subject matter in his songs and it just seems to me that you're looking for more simple music with no concepts and just talking about how much money he has. Well look elsewhere because that's not what he's about on this album

Exactly its a WAYNE album, not Lil Wayne featuring Young Money/Cash Money. He's doing his own thing with this one which is very good for him at this point in his career.

Mmm k, considering he grew up listening to rock music, and the only reason it has recently started to show through because of that stupid "Party Like A Rock Star" song, and now everyone is jumping on the band wagon. Not a recent influence at all, at all.

Obviously that isn't what he is about on this album, being as I have already stated that fact.

Cash Money has a very dedicated fanbase, something Wayne himself has said. They have a niche. This is outside of what CMR/Wayne fans are looking for, it's the rap equivalent of Metallica's St Anger album.

As if the subject matter is really any different,

"She say I'm hot I say no bitch I'm blazin'

What the fuck do you expect I'm a mother fuckin' cajun"

"It's young Wayne on them hoes

AKA Mr. Make It Rain On Dem Hoes"

Not to mention the "pussy" rampage he goes on in that "Set This Stage On Fire" song.

I'm still not to familiar with the songs, but given a week or two to listen, I guarantee I will come back with many, many lyrics that could've came from any of his previous material.
