what is the formula for figuring out square feet of a box ? i know its l x w x h but what is that divided by ?

To figure out how big a box is measure the Height, Width, and Depth of the box (in inches) then HxWxD / 1728 will give you the cubic ft. of the box. Don't forget to account for the thickness of the wood your using by subtracting it from your total
