Anyone know the problem? I still have a stock Battery, other than that everything that could be done to the car has been done. Electrical wise. its a 200A Excessive Amp Alt, and only a M-1000 Alpine amp, i dont get it?!

Buy HIDs.
No, mine still dim! This is shit! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Why do I seem to have the only dimming HID's in the world? I drop from 15.1 to 14.2 at the absolute lowest, and that basically 1 volt of difference makes my lights dim more dramatically then I would expect.

monitor voltage and report back. note the HO alt only does about half it's output at idle, so with the lights on at night you have even less current available at idle. at 2500 RPM the lights shouldn't dim. if so, you are just taxing the system.

and a "stock" battery is not recommended. it should be a new battery with adequate size, preferably AGM

My voltage never drops below 13.5 give or take .1. And is 1000w considered high power? Haha, i mean im looking to buy a crescendo BC3500, for the sundowns.

I would consider high powered 1000w + (where you really need to start adding batteries, alts, etc)

agreed. i'm not saying to have a second battery, just that the main battery needs to be 100% in order to keep up. but the alt is what powers the vehicle/system when the car is running.

just because someone "does the big 3" doesn't mean it's done well or that they didn't introduce more resistance in connections. how a connection is made is 10x more important than the wire used.
