If you have the money I'd go bigger than a Kinetik 800.

Definitly get rid of cap and try to get the biggest battery you can afford, you are probably close to maxing out your electrical system and a HO alternator is going to to be the only cure. YOu can add an endless amount of batteries and caps but if the alt cant charge because of excesssive draw, more amperage is the only solution.

I'm getting rid of the cap and adding a kinetic 800 in the back. batt under hood is already a kinetic 2600. should this solve the problem or should i start saving for and alt. i have a '04 grand cherokee with stock 140amp alt. Amp if hifonics bx1500d that i'll be upgrading to a 2607d.

did you charge your kinetik before installing? i had a problem similar this my batery was some how not completely charged when i got it..(from ebay BNIB!) and how and the hell did you get a 2600???? lol

the sub seems like it needs more than the bx1500d i have on it right now so i'm gonna thro a 2607d on it and keep the gains down. plus i'll be adding another bl in the future so i want to have 2 of the same amp and the bx1500d isnt made anymore.

engine i have is the 4.0, but it has the higher stock electrical system. if i were to upgrade the alt where would be a good place to go?
