Light wont go off...

Whassap all.

i got ma amp in my Pathfinder, and my amp, for some reason, the protection indicator light wont off, and the amp wont work, i brought the amp in the house, and it works fine (i ran it ona ac/dc converter....)

any ideas of whats wrong??

Probably a blown fuse or a shorted wire. Check fuses in the amp and near the battery. Check all wiring for shorts. Your battery should put out between 11-16 volts.

Many amps can't handle loads below 2 or 4 ohms and may shut down as a result.

Yeah as said above you have to get clean connections between points, ground is especialy important. You might also check if your battery terminals are corroded and if so clean them well and go get some anti-oxidizing spray at your local auto store, they may call it like battery terminal cleaner or something like that but it's all the same.

make sure there are no speaker wires touching + to - this will make it

go into protection mode and if they're touching all the time it wont

allow it to work
