im not sure how do i check that?nope, but depending on what software version you have, you can hack into it and create your own mp3 ring tones.
but verizon has taken all possible efforts to keep you from doing so. what sw version do you have?

All you need to do is download a program called "bitpim" which is a free program, and then you can put whatever the hell you want on your chocolate (I have a chocolate). And yes, i have like 50 different ring tones i custom made from MP3's that i transferred to the phone. You can even use bluetooth to transfer shit to it instead of that wirenope, but depending on what software version you have, you can hack into it and create your own mp3 ring tones.

wait, do you mean the stuff you transfer as music files for the MP3 player? IF so, yea i misunderstood that and I apoligize, i do not think you can do that. But why would you need to? If you want an mp3 ringtone, you can just take the song you have on your computer, cut it down into 20-30 seconds, and then send it with bitpim?dont be a jackass when you dont know what youre talking about...
you cannot simply transfer the mp3s to your phone, and set them as ringtones, which is what he was asking...
if you had waited to let me finish, instead of being the asshat that you are, i would have been able to tell him this. i was waiting to see what sw version he had, because on 06 and higher, it is not possible, even with bitpim. and with 05 you have to change the dll software. but im sure you knew all this, and were going to make him aware of this, since you are king ding a ling and know all, right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
dont come on here all sarcastic acting like you know everything... i have the chocolate as well, and i too have added my own ring tones. and guess what, you cant simply take music you transfered to the phone and make it a ringtone (which again, is what the OP asked, and again, im sure you knew that since you know all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif)
thanks, try being a smart *** else where.
because its easier than creating the ringtone, going into the phones software files, and inserting it as a ringtone.wait, do you mean the stuff you transfer as music files for the MP3 player? wow verizon sucks ***. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif I guess that is new, my old phone (V710) i had to "hack" with seem edits to get it to let me transfer things to it, but the chocolate i have i've had for like 6 months and it was fine w/ transferring, no hacks needed. But i guess they changed that. I assume you have the free internet hack on your phone too? That's my favorite part of this phone, free EVDO internet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gifbecause its easier than creating the ringtone, going into the phones software files, and inserting it as a ringtone.
and again, you cant do it with all software versions. verizon found the vulnerability, and fixed it to where you have to either go deeper into hacking, or pay them for the tones.
