well anyway i heres what i think is going on

might be a HU problem, preouts might be going bad? anyway i can test this for sure? i think my left mid is blown now (but how could it be?)

now when i play CDs in my HU my left tweeter doesnt cut out at all, only seems to happen when i am using my aux input in the front of my HU with my ipod

any suggestions? dunno why no one here feels like talking

I am having the same problem with my recent install. Everything was working fine until the addition of the CDA-105. It seems to do it on CD and/or using IPOD/USB.

Still can't figure out what it is, may switch out HU to see if that resolves things.
