Legal advice, please...

The vehicle was NOT my personal job/installation.

Somehow, by 2:30pm some equipment had been stolen out of the vehicle.

They blamed me and said I had to pay the cost on them $250.

I negotiated and they let me pay $150, owing $100 and kept my toolbox and one piece of my equipment.
I am really unclear why in the world you took any responsibility and paid them anything?

employer:

tax fraud = federal pound me in the *** jail

poliece report NOT filed when "said" equipment was stolen from vehcile

hazerdous working enviornment = investigation

ng:

you technically were NOT an employee, so you are responsable for zero

tools\dvd player were bought and paid for by you

you never should have given him 150 in the first place

tell him to go **** on a chode IMO. he has nothing on you. if the cops confront you, all you gotta do is say i never actually worked there. something was stolen from his lot, and he tried to pin it on a guy who was trying to get a job there.

id be like, yea i was 'auditioning' for a job, i helped on a few projects and it got slow and i didnt get hired. something got stolen from his shop. i was not around when it happened. oh well.

id seriously have told him to lick a nut.

Funny things is, when I left with my shit...

I pulled out in my truck, bumping LOUD as hell... and beeped/sped off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
