ok i bought some leds and tapped the power in with the power of the low beam and the ground i grounded to where i have my engine block ground for the right light and for left i have it where i have my batter ground, should i be ok and also i am using 16 gauge wire so should i put a fuse on them since its going to be less than 3 watts per side?

You should be fine, I did something similar.

Strips actually died on me, WI winters are brutal.

Oh ok so it will just blow that fuse then if things go wrong

I did mine to the low beam not the blinker. But i may go that route

Id still use afuse because those lights could be bcm controlled. So if something happens it couod toast the computer
