ok well I can't get the sub I wanted unless I wait..I'm not waiting. I've waited long enough.

I want to order it today so I can get the sub in by Tuesday of next week if not sooner.

I'm looking at 3 subs right at the moment.

amp to power the sub Directed 1500D @ 1 ohm 1100wrms.

I want SQ over SPL but a mix of both is fine.

looking at:

Sound Stream SPLX 152

Alpine SWR-1522D

SS RL-p 15"

I refuse to post questions again on sub. I'm buying one today and thats that. To anyone that wants to throw in their input before I buy...Thanks!

How much were you looking to spend? did you consider the RE SX, RE SE, IA DP, or my new favorite the Audioque HD

I'm spending no more than $400 shipped. thats what I was going to pay for a MAG d2 but now I'm looking at other options. I want SQ over all. most subs I've called on are not in stock any where. sites will state thats the part is in stock but then I call and everyone is like..."ummm no we don't have any right now".

I did not look at RE because I've been reading lately that their quality has gone down from where it used to be. Maybe not..but they are kinda expensive aren't they? where can I buy IA's and DP's and Audioque HD at online? I'll look into those before I order. so far though it seems I'll be getting an RL-p unless one of these other ones seem better...aurgh more research.

well I've decided its between the:

RL-p 15

OR

IA "Lethal Injection Series" 15

I actually think the RL-p looks better from what I've read. so I'm leaning towards it still. Infact I'm going to lunch and when I get back I'm going to call in my order. If you guys have any last minute advice I'll check when I get back before I call. Thanks again!

if in the proper enclosure you'll be suprised at the sq of the DP but i'd still go with the rl-p

Im telling yo uthough that Audioque looks to be no joke for the money. I think that will be my next woofer investment

Good choice you wont be disapointed. What type of enclosure are you going to be using?
