Laptop Screen Problem - Help!

Take a big magnet, (a sub works really well) and put it near the laptop. The dissolved metals in the liquid will gravitate toward the magnet.

Problem solved.

You can thank me later.

depending on how much liquid really got in i wouldnt worry about it. but if you are you can just take apart the monitor and dry it out. its not really that hard. just keep all the small screws.

and a big magnet... What??? lol

i was gonna say on the magnet..i wouldnt do that...it could really **** the laptop up-

lol

Another cool thing to do it cut fridge magnets into cool shapes before you put the on the screen. Then while the magnet is doing its thing, you get pretty shapes on the screen.

you people who don't know shit about computers should stfu and quit giving bad advice like letting it dry... you are really going to mess his computer up.. he needs to get the microscopic dissolved metals out of the screen before they do irreparable damage.. and the only way to do that is with a big magnet (the bigger, the better).

It's not just like there to be wiped up or dried easily. Its beween the glass cover of the screen and the screen itself. I can't get get to it to even dry it.

It's not like I don't know anything about computers. And I do know (even more than the smartass faulkton) that an LCD screen in NOT affected by a magnet. Even if I tried your stupid attempt at being a smartass, nothing would have happened. And even if I was talking about a CRT monitor (those are the one's that are affected by the forces of magnets), is all I would have to do is degauss it a few times.

who said i was trying to fuk up the screen? I was hoping you would wipe the HD..
anyways, enjoy this

Well considering that the hard drive is as far away from the screen that it can be and still be hooked up, it wouldn't have done anything to the hard drive if I was stupid enough to try it anyways.

Any REAL suggestions?
