Laptop question

Quick question -

I am ordering a laptop for school this fall and my campus is all wireless. Do I need a router to get internet or can i get internet just through the laptop?

need to check with the school/apartment first. MY apartment freshman year had wireless access, but since then ive had to either go wired or buy a router

well you can always get a router. never hurt anyone having an extra one for your house after you come home.

but usually with a laptop they have wifi cards so you wouldn't need a router at school.

also i dont see ANYTHING wrong with Dell laptops. their CS is pretty good. Get the 4 year plan on your laptop and you should be good to go.

Inspiron have built in Wifi cards... But sweet jesus they sound like the **** things run off gasoline. The fans are rediculously loud.
