also the 1ohm ratings are actually lower on the 8k then 7k

Yeah that's one thing I've noticed too. Are they using different build houses on the two I guess you would call different series of Opti's? Some many similar sizes but way different RMS ratings makes me wonder what exactly is the deal behind that.

I wonder if this amp will put out more power at 1 ohm with a higher voltage. are these ratings on 12v or 14.4? Do you guys think this will put out more than two Kicker zx2500.1???
