Lanzar Opti3201D running at .25 ohm question

I was wondering is it safe to run it at .25 ohm. I bought 2 brand new RE audio SXXv2s and it supposed to be dual 2 ohm but apparently it reads .8 ohm each speaker so its Dual 1 ohm subs. So im stuck either running at 1 ohm or .25. Im running 2 Engergizer Group 31 batteries, which ive learned its 2 Johnson Control Group 31 AGM batteries. Got a voltmeter in the front for the batteries. Also got a 200 Amp excessive amperage alternator. Would it be ok to run it at .25 ohm?

From what I can find, those subs weren't offered as d1's.

I would like to think RE knows how a nom 2 ohm voice coil should behave. A resting DC resistance of .8 ohms doesn't necessarily mean it will operate at a similarly low impedance.

You might email RE about the issue. It would be interesting to hear their take.

Yeah I did email them but haven't heard a response back yet. It ***** basically. I wanted D2s that's why I picked up the lanzar optis. And then boom fail.
