Lanzar Opti.. Tc Sounds Edition?

Looks pretty beefy and reasonably priced.. why doesnt someone strap a Brutus on it and tell me how it sounds..I cant say I dislike it

there has been a thread about them already... general consensus was that they werent tc sounds drivers.. merely using the basket (and i believe that tc got on them about it, and they are/did redesigned them...)

i noticed the same thing.... good chance tc would throw a fit if they knew about it...

who knows? Th HK is a monster, and (never heard one personally) the TC is a Monster also! That Lanzar is rated like th HK12x2 and it looks like a sturdy sub.. I wonder how it sounds! Wouldnt trade my SX's for em tho

im not trying to argue- but i think you are missing the point. tc sounds gets awfully whiney about anyone using that basket (the have a bunch of patents on it, and are very protective of it..) Im not debating the quality of any of em (as i personally wont run lanzar, or ma..)

That issue was handled at CES. All companies using the Ti basket (withouth permission) got a copy of the patent with patent owner ship. They had the change to pull the line or be in contact with TC lawyers.
