Hey, I got a tx1005d on my sub..sub is 800-1000 rms...its a hybrid so I dont really know(HC/SX)

anyways what would this push in reality for the XXXwatts x 2 @ 2 ohms?

I know the tx1005d doesnt push the 1000 watts its says...probably around 700. I have 2 subs but am only running one of them because Im waiting on the box. And they are dvc 2 ohm so it would be 2 ohms in the end.

advise on the lanzar...throw it in the trash

No seriously your load on 1 sub would be 1 ohm or 4om i believe. if the amps stable at 1ohm you should be ok persay at 4 ohm its gonna be lacking

i know the problem is...when i get the other sub up and going with the other one in a dual ported box...i need to get a new amp and im lackin money...I was just gonna run 2 tx1005ds.

there was a benchtest posted for the 268 a while back -- 923w bridged at 4 ohms. That's going to be 460ish x2 at 2 ohms.

Actually a helluva lot of power for the price.

Generally Lanzar's cheap stuff gets a lot of "junk" comments, but for the most part - at the right price they're not bad products. Lanzar, for some reason just gets out of hand with power numbers on their cheaper lines.
