Lame Polyfil Question

When putting the polyfil in a box, is there a specific way you're supposed to attach it to the box, or do you just stuff it in there?

stuffing it works...also stapling works well.

just stuff it in there, about 1 pound for every cubic foot. dont worry about how it looks inside the box i mean..whos gonna see it?

Polyfil can be stuffed but I like to keep it directly off the poll vents to help with heat displacement.

sounds deeper, not neccessarily louder...

also reduces power handling.

depends, if you have a low power amp, a more efficient enclosure could be just what you need. If you have a 1kW+ powerhouse, probably not.

polyfill /= sound deadener...the two are completely different. Polyfill is what you stuff in pillows, sold at Walmart or K-mart in bags.

i do not belive in polyfill in vented boxes.

neither do most people...there are other factors to consider in a ported box, so polyfill might not be a good idea there...
