I have a Kenwood Exelon KDC X859 Head unit. This thing has built in croosovers for front, rear and NF. Ever since I've had it I have always had my front set at HP 150hz for my 4", the rear set HP- 80hz for my rear 6x9's. And I set th NF LP to 80 hz for my subs. But I've been tring to get a little more midbass out of my 6x9's. So I turned off the NF preout(shuting the subs off) and disabled the crossovers by puting them on pass through. But still all I get is a slight pop out of them. My brothers Taurus has more bass coming from his factory 6x8's then I do.

I figured maybe it was the 6x9's being worn out from all the air pressure in my trunk moving them. So I went and bought new Alpine type S's front and back. But still no difference. I can see the surounds moving on the speaker but I wonder if the crossovers are FUBAR?
