What you guys think? I've heard some serious things about the Treo SSX and have heard the LA Storm personally and was impressed, it sounded awesome and got **** low. My number 1 concern is to be a low bass monster...i would like it to sound great also and get stupid loud. Or different lines of Treo subs, any suggestions are welcome.

I can spend around $1200-$1500 max for the sub(s) and amp(s). Thank you

I havent personally heard the la storm, but i can vouch for the ssx. Its definately worth checking out. Its very loud, and sounds good while doing it. It can get very low indeed. It would be my pic of the 2.

That's good to know, thank you. Any comparison to the old xxx? I previously had the old xxx15 with ~2200 to it and it was pretty **** loud. Just trying to get an idea, however, the xxx was in a truck, this will be going in my honda accord (trunk). But, my ghetto home theater 8" with 90 watts hooked up to a power inverter actually bangs for what it is. Rattled my house window from 50 ft away in the driveway

Mainly trying to be "lose your breath at 35hz" loud, while still sounding great //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

The ssx definately has the ability to make you loose your breath. A guy locally is running a single sssx 12 in a honda accord, and its crazy how much to roof flexes with that thing. Has good sq aswell.

I will not be dealing with RE anymore. Great products, but now the price has just become ridiculous

Really...does it drop low too? What box/power? If I did 1 sub it would be a 15, so that would definitely help the low end...but so far ive found 1 price for the SSX, and that's over $500. I was hoping they would be cheaper so I could do 2 of em...because 2 LA Storm 15s (for the price of 1 SSX) I would think to be louder than 1 SSX15 (both with rms power).

One of the most important things I forgot to mention...2 old school Storm 15s vs 1 Treo SSX 15...Storms with about 1200-1500 to each, the SSX with 2500-3000. Or even better, 2 15" SSi's with 1000-1200 each? I'm at a loss here with so many options

if your looking to run 2 subs, then the ssi's are great aswell. I would put them pretty close to the w7 in terms out output, and it has great sq aswell. Im not a real big fan of la gear, so it wouldnt be a tuff decision for me.

Really...cuz I was thinking of running 2 12" ssi's maybe, or 1 15 ssx. Basically, whatever would get me the louder lower end, and louder overall I would say wins. SQ is very important too, but a stupid loud low end is what im really after

Haha thanks. I dont know if I would have enough room for 2 15s anyway for their full potential. I'm impressed with the SSX 15 and 18 4" voice coil hehe
