L7 Opinions needed

I have a 06 L7, it's currently in a 2.95 cb ft box tuned to 34hz, it's loud but I have heard way louder setups iwht just one L7. Mine is being power by a Us Amps MD2.

But I want opinions on a new enclosure, or maybe go sealed beacause I heard that the EBP of a l7 is 52 with a QTS of .56, so that makes it more suited for sealed enclosures, so do this mean it will be louder in a sealed enclosure?

It might be your box.What ohm do you have it running at? And where's your port located?How far is the sub away from it (inside) (honestly pics of it inside the vehicle would be helpful).

Yes its a 12in L7, Its a 2ohm DVC, so i have it wired down to 1 ohm on my MD2 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif, My current box the sub and port are both facing to the rear, I had another Box where the sub was facing the rear, but the port was facing to the side, but the box was made to kickers specs, and sounded horrible //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

your LB is nowhere near 52, Mike's 4 18MTs were rated at that. Your 12" L7 2 ohm dvc L7s has an LB of 17.7 I believe

agreed. i tried one of mine in a box that big about...and it SUCKED in that box...it sounded like complete shit. but my regular box was about 3.5-3.75 net volume...and it liked it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
