l7 making odd noise

i have 2 12's 08 l7's dual 2ohms i have them wired up to 2ohms to a zx1500 in a 5.2net tuned to 34hz box, today i hooked up them to the 1500 and the B.S. says 1664 so i set gains to 1600rms with a 50hz tone and dmm. so 56.5 is what i have them set at right now, and i have the subsonic filter switch selected on the amp.

I know i am giving them 800rms but i figured thats fine

Anyway only one of the subs makes a weird noise almost like its bottoming out it sounds like its hitting plastic or like something is in the way of the cone and making a scratching kind of noise its hard to describe, i will try to make a video tommorow.

what could this be and why is only the one sub doing it

this is the first time ever heard it they have been on 425rms a piece for about 3 months and now they are on 800rms a piece and this is the first time i heard the noise

will that hurt the sub at all and is there anyway i can find out for sure thats it and fix it if possible or do i have to send it back to kicker

wanted to add i havent tried but could it be that i have the freq down at 50hz instead of 80 or wat

the subsonic filter is set at 25hz cant change that on kicker amps so should i bump up the freq or wat

IIRC the 08 l7's have woven tinsels, the noise could either be the sub bottoming out or part of the box rattling which is most likely it.

well the sound is coming from the one sub only the back sub

should i bump up the freq to 80hz

go bak over yo wiring and set them up a simple way.

wtf are u talking bout dude i have them wired right and put a dmm on it to test the ohm load its right at 2.3ohms

only thing i need to really do is rewire the subs with bigger guage wire right now i am using only 14 or 16 guage cant rember

Unless one of the wire came loose on the other sub and it's dangling in the box? But i doubt it
