need advice on sub

alright i'm looking for one 12" sub for my 99 accord for around 150. i want to put it in a sealed box (also anywhere u know where to buy good boxes would help out). im mainly looking for SQ i listen to rock and metal so it doesnt need crazy bass, just needs to sound good. number 1 right now is the alpine type r 12 with an alpine MRP-M500 amp. what other subs would be in my price range?

i would look for something other than an alpine type R. it's an spl sub.

the R is a sql sub so ignore that prior post, just stick with that, in your price range its as good as youll get

Type-R is a cheap SPL sub.
