l7 box help

i plan to put this 12" l7 in the back of my 95 dakota ext cab and my buddy gave me a old box. its 19 tall 17deep and 31 long and the port exits behind the sub on the side. it measures 18 long 2 tall 18.5 deep ,iguess my question is how well should it perform in this enclosure.and what it tuned to? im up for building a new box so if some one has a good design id appreciate it.o and im more of an spl guy and i have a planet audio 2250 pushin it thanks
