L7 15" louder than D2 15""?

I dont have 15's I have 12's. So no I'm not just saying that cause I have L7's. You see that's why people say they are so bad, because they here other people saying it and then they get the idea that they sound bad, so they start telling it to other people. It's actually pretty sad. TRUE, that L7's are gonna sound like *** if you put certain songs on. Some examples of shitty bass comin off of L7's include the new Rubber Band Man, that song just plain sux *** on L7's. BUT, if you put something more like Luniz, I got 5 on it, Twista Overnight Celebrity, and omg, it gets clear. THEY ARE HARD TO TUNE
Nah, if you read my last post, I've heard 3 or 4 setups with L7's. They all were very loud, but sounded absolutely horrible.

Even at Ovation (an authorized dealer), they have them perfectly setup to spec in a sealed box, kicker 1200.1 for power, and an expensive looking Alpine deck, and they still sounded horrilbe compared to the JL's and Type R's sitting beside them.

And...a GOOD sub will sound good on any song, well.. atleast acceptable, not just on certain songs. You shouldn't have to play specific songs to make any sub sound acceptable. That's a waste to me.

IMO they are nothing but SPL subs. 85%-SPL/ 15%-SQ

No offense to L7 owners.

x2.............

In my opnion, just because you've heard somethin 3 or 4 times dosn't give you the right to rag the hell out of them. I also TOO have heard an authorized dealer put to 12 inch L7's in a ported box with a 1200.1 hooked up to it and they sounded ****in awesome. The same with their L5's as well.

Sure, if you want "Acceptable" bass, sure go ahead and play Rubber Band Man and you'll get "Acceptable" bass.

And if you don't think they are hard to tune than ask anyone else who has them sounding good about how hard they are to tune.

YOU, do not have the right to claim that they sound bad because you don't own them and you've never heard my setup nor my friends, so as long as their are two people out their who have them sounding good, you can't claim that they sound like crap.

OH, p.s.

the last 4 lines of your signature...yeah, shows you are an ignorant, immature, childish, irresponsible kid. WOW, people like you PHUCK up the hobby for us, by making laws stricter, and bullshit like that. Grow up and bump responsibly. peace

I don't know what in the world you mean by "they're hard to tune", but I never even touched on that. I think your using that as fuel for your little fire. Why in the world do you keep bringing that up? Show me where i've debated that. I don't understand what

you're talking about to be able to debate that.

Also, I heard them sealed aswell, and they still sounded horrible to me.

I always thought that the BOX was what you tune?....o-well. I could be wrong.

I don't have the right to state my opinion based on my experiences? LOL!

That's like me saying YOU don't have the right to say that you like YOUR L7's, lol.

Obviously your reply is one of two things, or both.

1) Your just looking for an argument

2) I've hurt your little feelings with my opinions

Either way, lighten up.

I'm entitled to my opinion, and I've clearly stated that my posts are my expressed opinions.

YOU think they sound ok.

I think they sound worse than garbage....

Either way that is our OPINIONS.

Say it with me... O-PIN-IONS

Yay, there ya go.

Get over it man.

What if I don't like that song?..What, then L7's aren't for me?

If a person doesn't have "rubber band man" in their cd collection, then they should pass on L7's?

Or hey, maybe they should just go get that song to make their $200 investment seem worth it.

you can't claim that they sound like crap.
THEY SOUND LIKE CRAP.

one against all... lets hear sum ppl support the L7's... haha, dayum, i wanted the louder sub, but if it sounds THAT bad, then siet, the D2 it is.... oh ya and them test numbers are pretty close. L7 shouldnt be THAT much louder... for 350 i think the D2 15" is the best buy
