hey anyone got a new mt sub? if so how much was it (havnt been able to get through to re lately) and how is it? i know it was designed to be an spl monster so is the sq on it horrible? let me know what you think of it? thinking about gettin one

I would personally stick with the XXX but if u wanan spend the extra cash to power the MT correctly ull need about 2500 rms to pull the most out of it for daily use. Price is i think for the MT 15 449$

A friend of mine has 2 18" RE MT's and uses them daily. The only way he's able to accomplish this, is because, he has dual 300amp alternator,s a yellow top, a 2 40 farad carbo RF Caps. He has 2 RF BD 1500's on each woofer. ITs one loud daily, as its tuned to 33hz i believe, and he does a steady 150 on the new TL for a street Beat system tuned to 33hz.

If your decided on subs, go with the XXX, its the best all around sub they make.

the only reason i would use an MT really, is for competition. even if youre 100 % spl geared, if youre not competing, you can get louder for less money with multiple drivers and you wont need as much power. if youre competing, sometimes you want to keep as few drivers and amps as possible to stay in a ceartain class.

It's a pretty good daily driver. You don't need the power that everyone thinks you do...trust me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
