I have an L5 and today my speaker just cut out and did nothing so i disconnected it thinking it was blown but i changed the wiring to 4 ohms and it worked but when i put it at two it wouldn't work but i got another L5 that was two ohm load and it worked what is up with my speaker ??????

sounds like you L5 is a dual voice coil 2 ohm. if that is true, you can only run it at 1 ohm and 4 ohm. what im thinking happened, is when you thought you tried to run it at 2 ohm, it was actually at 1 ohm, and your amp isnt 1 ohm stable. so in return your amp went into protect and wouldnt play. but with your other speaker, that is prolly a dvc 4 ohm, and you were actually running that at 2 ohms, which your amp is stable at, so it stayed on and played for you.

whoa whoa you got it backwards man I have had this system running for over a year and it's a pre loaded box thats wired for two ohms as it is a dual 4 ohm coil config but i think i just blew the amp cuz i can hear there amp click when i take it off 8 ohms and got two four but now i have no sound now
