L5 and L7 speaker cutout not same size?

I just tried to put my new L7s in my box that I had my L5s in and I couldn't get the L7s to go. Do the L7s require a bigger speaker cutout? I thought they were the same size.

what kinda electrical upgrades did you have to do to run your 2500.1? i just got one, and im getting a new truck..wondering if ill be able to get away without a second battery and just do the big 3

Big 3 done in 0 guage, 0 guage to the amp, everstart battery under the hood.

you could just do what terra said, and shave a little off, or roll with a sander and 60 grit paper for a while, but will take longer
