L Shaped port, Or Differnt Slotport..

Simple question maybe.. but when slot porting.. Do you guys do the L shaped slot port when it has to wrap around, or do you add the port going opposite..

was just curious if there is an advantage with one way or the other, or if space is the only factor.. Couldn't find anything about it but would be nice to discuss..

I prefer the L shape due to less bends in the port (more free flowing). In the bend I use a 45 degree corner and then roundover the port wall to further eliminate restrictions. Like this:

Your talking about a 90 degree turn vs. a 180? The 90 will definitely flow better
