Kove ZD2000V Vs. Us Amps Md2d

I am currently using a Kove Audio ZD2000v, but have a opportunity to get a USAMPS MD2D for a really good deal. Only thing is part of the deal is trading my Kove. I love my Kove and it has been a really great amp for me. But the US is putting out 1500 @ 1ohm. Anyone here ever used the Md2d before and if so should I do the deal?

yea but was asking if that was due to lack of funds or because the guy won't sell it without a replacement, also what sub or subs,.............. I would do it if the price is right, but that's just me.

I paid $120 for the Kove from the same guy who is selling the US..... and he was originally selling the US for $250. Told me he would take the Kove back plus $50 for the US. Just wondering if anyone has used this the MD2D and if it is a reliable amp.

I don't know enough about the kove but I'm thinking it would be about the same. Not worth coming out of pocket

idk, I guess you should wait and get new subs and an amp, but for me i am the kinda person who likes to try all different types of equipment so i would do it, are you going to really notice a difference, don't know, best thing you can do is see if the guy will let you test it out one day and see if it's worth the 50 bucks if he's local, then make your decision.

I ended up trading for a Pheonix Gold Tantrum 1200.1. The birth sheets read out over 1500 @ 4 ohm. So its a lot more power then the Kove and I can run my subs at 4 ohm instead of 1 ohm. The amp is a beast I love it!!

I like running at higher impedance. That's probably not a bad choice for you. FYI US Amps best years were in the late 90's. Their more modern offerings are not terrible, but nothing special and way over-rated.
