cool. Funny, i was wondering about the coil wires in a recone, like if you had to connect to the little wires on the coil or what have you. But that shows that the leads are attached, and just need to be connected to the terminals. Thanks for sharing.

Now if i could just find a recone kit for a pair of Beyma 6MI80's cheap.

where in pa do you live since woofercooker is leaving to ny i need somebody close to recone my subs when they go on me

I live about 80 miles East of the Ohio border.. Right in the middle of the state..Im about 30 miles north of I-80

That's a fvcken great write up man! Nice meticulous documentation w/ visuals!

I especially liked the former/motor view. I'll remember to inspect that closely the next time I have to recone so I don't fvck it up again.

The wires coming from the voice coil are soldered to the leads from the spider and is hidden under the dustcap.
