The EB wire is bigger then excelene wire both 2/0 I've had side by side. Idk if it was just a bad run or what but for the price EB is better

not saying this in a dickish way, but ive said it before and ill say it again, bigger does not equal more ampacity. it does in the overall picture, but please keep in mind the different strand sizes and how they can effect actual ampacity. thats why car audio wire is generally larger than welding cable but carries more current. im assuming that you mean actual wire area not including the insulation by the way

Had a buddy that bought Royal 2/0 when I bought EB flex 2/0.. The EB flex was bigger.

So if I go with EB Flex. And my amp terminals are 0 gauge. Am I supposed to go one size bigger with the welding wire. And get 2/0

Yes, that eb flex i showed in pic is 2/0..

Boomin- installbay might be just about lowest quality wire ive found. Its roughly 4g lol

I got some old Stinger 2 gauge wire laying around. Has the same outside dia jacket as the 1/0 wire I have....
