the thing with that is not knowing how much it will carry tho, for the price of OFC 4ga i can just get 1/0 CCA and be fine and save money because the OFC is like 1.55per ft and the CCA 1/0 can be get for 1.00 per ft lol, yea im kind of cheap. i know you get what you pay for but thats why i run multiple runs, and i know for sure the bullz 1/0 would be fine(ive used it before for 4kw). I just like the look of the KNU lolYeah, should be OK with the two runs of 4 gauge, ofc would be best. And I would fuse it too, since you are going to be running it close to it's limitation.
But from what I read, 2 runs of 4 gauge it's roughly equal to 1 gauge. The general rule of thumb is doubling the wire increases gauge by 3. 4 and 4 makes 1, 8 and 8 makes 5, and so on
