knu battery terminals

i bought the positive and negative versions of this item and neither will fit on my battery terminals. i have taken them to a few stores and can't find any terminals that are big enough to fit in these tightly.

any ideas?

i just got my knu battery terminals in, not these the other ones they sell. hope mine fit fine. i'd see if you can get a hollow metal piece that you could crush to size or get a wedge type metal piece to fit too.

mine fit my opt just fine are you sure you got a pos and a neg . and are you shure your putting them on right

Top post batteries have tapered posts. The Positive and Negative posts are two different sizes so that you do not reverse polarity.

Your positive battery terminal should measure:

Top - 0.695"

At the base - 0.755"

The negative should measure:

Top - 0.640"

At the base - 0.705"

problem solved. battery is a side post. the item i mentioned is top post. they don't mix apparently.
