So current draw has nothing to do with voltage drop?... and when exactly do batteries begin to discharge this "tons of reserve current"?
depending on the situation it almost always has something to do with it....

Please explain how it "almost" always has something to do with it. Secondly, explain your second sentence in detail. By being vague, you are showing that you do not have a very good understanding of what you're talking about. Please elaborate to remove any doubt we all may have.

you seem to be the only nay sayer about anything I have said here dude...

several other people have already PM'ed me thanked me and liked me on several of the posts....

so if you just do not really know and want an answer just ask, instead of hiding man it is no big deal.. I will explain it in simple laymens terms just to make sure...

batteries are storage devices that use a chemical reaction of acid and lead ...electrolytes... ( simply put...) to make and store useable electrical energy..

when a load is placed across the pos ( cathode) and neg (anode) poles of the battery the reaction of the electrolyte and lead plates creates a path for the electricity to go to..

since the reaction is chemical it is also a volitile reaction as well and continues to discharge in small amounts constantly over time.

any more easy ?'s ???

lol.. most of ours was in beakers with diff random meatals.. lead tungsten copper.. just checking how much we would get out of different materials and measuring deposits and goofy **** like that that you will never use out of the classroom.. lol.. some stuff like that dpes relate car audio wise. halps you understand it better anyways

I did not ask that. Answer the questions I DID ask. I am very versed in electronics. It's what I do. I know that you have no idea what you're talking about and I intend to prove that. I don't care who thanked you etc. That means they do not know what they are talking about either plain and simple.
