Kinetik battery install..

Well had a friend of mine that owns a local shop here in DFW called Expert Car Audio install 2 Kinetik HC1400's for me. This is how the install looked after evrything was done. By the way this is in a 2004 Yukon..

Just curious, to the bus bar guys like this one, do you cover the 12+ side with some type of plastic cover or something of the sort? That looks about a billion times easier to screw up and short out than regular terminals.

x2. I would add an insulator on the + bus bar, especially with what looks to be the hold-down bar contacting the - bar.

its a very very clean install but i would have used copper bars for that. other than that, my work is no where near nice as that.

Headunit- JVC KW-AVX800

Doors Front- CDT Audio EF-61FG/TW25

Rear - CDT Audio CL-6EX

Amplifiers- Mids&Highs- Hi Fonics Zeus Z-440,

Subs- MTX Thunder TA-81001

Subwoofers- 4- 15" MTX Thunder 7500's

Charging- Alterstart Load Boss 275 amp alternator, 2 Kinetik HC1400's

It is actually a couple inches from the ground bar. It looks alot closer than it is.
