Kinda OT but really not: Need help with Sketchup!

I downloaded it when it came out. I never tried to do anything and gave up. Then I saw it really get popular here, so I tried it out and did the tutorials. So I finally figured out how to replicate the outside dimensions of my current enclosure. I got the dimensions to display, and I just push/pull the sides til they are perfect. But after that I'm lost. If I do a woofer cutout the wood is paper thin. I don't know how to adjust material thickness. I don't know how to get stuff perfectly centered... and so on and so forth....

Someone wanna hit me up on AIM someday and help a bruvah out?

also with skethup how do you convert it to upload it on photobucket? i didnt think i saw it in the tutorial?

Since I've already phucked around with the program that tutorial makes PERFECTLY CLEAR sense to me!!! Thanks for the link!!!

go file/export/2d. then save it as a .jpg

then upload to where ever.
