Well, i wasn't planning on starting a build log because I am waiting on a few things. However i made some crap tonight i wanted to post so i figure i will do it now...
first thing here is a run down of me system:
Clarion DXZ675USB (honestly, i just thought the sliding face thing was sweet...)
"Big 3" with 1/0
300A Ohio Gen. alt with ext. regulator and slightly smaller pulley
1) KHC16V battery (kintetik 12V/16V)
2) PowerMaster D1000's (in the trunk)
2) runs of 2/0 for the amp
1) SoundStream XXX-6500D (running at 1.5ohm)
1) Atomic APX18
2) Pairs of SoundStream TRC.6n components
1) CRUNCH P1800.4 (for the speakers, 225W rms @ 4ohm per channel)
lots of sound deadener
my old system was a VX2200D and an HDC315 with some Eclipse coax. metered around a 145~ legal at the windshield with no deadener and no electrical upgrades at all... I am hoping to do it better this time.
Some pics of the progress already made:
sound deadener (i know... everyone hatin' on the FatMat...)

Got boresd tonight... needed adapters for 6X9 - 6.5" but i didn;t haev any wood. I DID however have a bunch of 1/2" and 3/4" plexi laying around, so i grabbed a sheet of 1/2" and got busy. They will not be seen so i wasn't worried about them looking good so you shouldn't be either ; ) and yes i know the tweeet is pretty much a waste pointing up at the rear window but i am NOT cutting up my leather or having them dangle so... deal with it : )
