I don't know jack about car audio, but I know about business, and nothing I heard makes business sense. There are alot better things to do with $100,000 liquid to work with.

With $100k....

Id buy a Benz S500 and drop $5k on the stereo and $15k in wheels and air suspension... with some dough left over.

I SMELL

Hey guys what do you think about this kind of install. I am doing a sponsored bass instlall using JL Audio, Crown, and Audiobahn components. I am thinking about buying a Frod E-350 extended 15 passenger van and making a killer bass install with 8 18" subwoofers. I am going to strip the back of the van clear (up till the front two seats) and lay concrete blocks on the ceiling (reinforced) walls and floor. There will be 4 18" drivers in the back and 4 in the front (maybe one audiobahn 34" in the back) this box will have a Vas of 11,000 litres. I will set up multiple power inverters so that i can power the whole thing with 2 Crown CE-4000 amps. The suspention will be changed to air of course. (to hold the ton of stuff on it). In the front there will be 4 JL Audio 18" W3s and in the back there will be either 4 audiobahn Linear Compression 18" or one 34". With this kind of install i will be able to go down to 14 Hz clean and at something like 112 db sensitivity. I dont know what head unit to use yet so im open for that suggestion. Tell me what you think!

Why would any dealer with any sense give you a 100K to work with and pay you 15K?

If your were that kinda guy that someone would entrust this kinda money too, I'd think you would not need us to help you... Not that I have a problem with helping you, just sounds like B.S......

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I am with him. See the way it sound's like bs is the fact that u here. DO not get me wrong on this.I love this forum and the ppl here. But have u ever seen Loyld ask us about stuff like that. UUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHH NO!!!!!!!!! See when u take on an install of that nature U should of have an idea already. U should kno the products and what they are capable of doing. And u said it was a demo van right. See, what are u tryin to show-off. The product, the sound, the install. which one?

Your best bet is to leave now why u still have a lil pride. Because I think u are about to be put in the same cateagory as the dude with the 2 18 Solo X in his Supra.

Those 34" Bahns are nothing more than a charade intended to spark an interest in the company and throw a veil over the face of those who can't see past its inability to perform even remotely close to their claims. Oh, and of all the people I know who have seen them personally, absolutely none of them have heard it. Coincidence? I think not.
